Background

   Jordan started her sewing journey as a young girl by using scraps of fabric and tape to create new clothes for her barbie dolls. She grew up as a competitive dancer and actress, falling in love with theatre, ballet, and the costumes that accompanied them.  During COVID, she taught herself how to sew and became enchanted with the fashion world. She now pursues fashion design at Savannah College of Art & Design with a minor in evening-wear and bridal.  She is passionate about creating wearable works of art with an emphasis on drapery, embroidery, and lace. Her mission is to design high-end gowns using sustainable materials that dazzles those who wear them.

  • Produced a diverse range of custom-made evening-wear, mother-of-the-bride gowns, children's princess costumes, and French Revolution-inspired ballgowns.

  • Organized client fittings, managed material and time budgets, and oversaw the production of each gown from conception to creation.

Tailoring Associate

Elizabeth Lee Bridal: Summer 2025

  • Worked closely with the head designer to execute precise bridal gown alterations, handcraft custom veils, and develop a new collection, gaining hands-on experience in couture techniques, client fittings, and professional garment construction.

  • Collaborated with clients to customize and refine tailoring specifications, ensuring precise and timely alterations for bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and pant hems, while adhering to industry standards.

L'Opéra

Advanced Fashion Sketching Project

  • Inspired by the Paris Opera house, the origins of ballet, and the historical style of  the baroque period, this evening-wear collection explores the grandeur of the opera house through marker, colored pencils, and micron pen.

Runway Recreation

Patterned Suit

  • Recreated a designer garment through original pattern drafting and muslin prototyping, then refined fit and construction to align with the source design; fully lined suit jacket and pants to challenge and expand technical skills.
